CD for music and album

If I remember it right , compact discs or cd's started way back year 2000 - ish or a little later. It was used for saving music , movies and other files. I can remember too that there were record stores here in our country that offers to rent cd's or vcd's if you want to watch a movie. Do you still use cd's ? Or vcd's to watch movies or listen to music? This cd in the picture is iKON's album in cd , it has 5 songs and I love all 5 .How about lottets here are you still buying cd's or albums?

@id_peace I was born in the 80's and it was casette tapes that time , do you remember the black thick ones called beta max and then there comes cd's hehehe

@iKONICNoona I do have a wide collection of CDs and DVDs. Although, I do not have a player for my collection.

The CD was actually invented in 1979, but it wasn't available to the public until 1982. Were you even born then?
The first sample compact disc - better known as a CD - was created 40 years ago. How well have they stood the test of time?

@owlwings I was born 1981 .And I remember seeing cassette tapes first at that time.
