Day 73 Promise 531 John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV) People worry about many things. Some are valid concerns. Yet, no matter what you worry about, all concerns work themselves out. Jesus knew His disciples worried about what He told them because He talked to them about His death. He told them not to worry because they believed in God. He told them He would leave them for a short while to prepare places for them in His Father’s house. As Christians, you know you have nothing to worry about because Jesus has everything under control. He knew what would take place as He talked to His disciples before they left the Upper Room for Gethsemane. Like the disciples, you long for the day when you will be with Jesus in heaven and see the mansion, He prepared for you. It’s His promise to you because you are His child. What are your concerns? Give them to Jesus and let Him take care of them. If He wasn’t worried, and He would soon die, you have nothing to worry about. Set your heart free from worry. Trust God to take care of you just as He promised. Let’s pray: Father, you know my concerns. Take them from me and give me Your peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
