Covid feels close

Unfortunately Covid is starting feel close now days.
In the past month or so I know more and more people affected by the pandemic.
* Someone in my apartment building
* 2 people (husband and wife) that I know personally
* A person I knew from when I used to have a radio show at the college radio station
* Friend's nieces/kids -classmates
Additionally mom and I were going to take a day trip to go to a Mexican restaurant about an hour away that offers carry out... but I checked online and they were closed due to one of the staff catching Covid.
The dance studio I went to (now take online classes with them) - someone attending class there went for a test. We were never told if that was + or -. It didn't apply to me, as I don't go in person anymore. But still.
Even an online self improvement -personality- I follow had it.
Here's hoping that everyone stays well , and healthy, and that there is an end to this pandemic soon

@DianneN Can't say I blame you... I haven't been keeping up, is Florida more of a hot zone at the moment? That is sad. :/

@xander6464 We can hope. I do like that Biden is making getting rid of this pandemic a top priority. Something was said about re-instating a pandemic task force? Am I to assume... that we had one that was de-assembled? Cringe.
