Back from Our Work Trip

We are supposed to drive home this afternoon, but since our work wrapped up early, we decided to just leave first thing this morning. It has been snowing a bit in our part, so we are not looking forward to a dark drive on slippery roads. We are so tired because we never had a chance to have a good rest or sleep, but we will just catch up on that this weekend. The important thing is that we are now home safe and sound. We stayed at a really upscale hotel, paid for by the company. But nothing beats sleeping in our own beds, in our own house. I miss my side of the bed, my nightstand with all my evening and morning rituals stuff, I miss my home. It's only been 4 days, and yet it's been way too long being away from home. I am not like this during vacations. But for work, that's a different thing at least for me. We went to the outlet mall to get my husband a belt because he forgot to bring one. I am proud to say that I did not buy anything. It was not that hard saying no afterall. Just think, I don't need it, even if it's on sale, it's not a good buy.

I am glad you are back home safe. I always miss my rituals and routines too when I go out of home.
