I am about to make a risotto with mussels.

I discovered some mussels that I had bought fresh, steamed and froke in a Tupperware.
So I thought that this is the occation for a mussels risotto.
I have some veggies to dice to give it color and the amount of mussels is more than what I had hoped for. Still I´ll use the all as I thawed them.
I froze them in the juice they shed and that will also go to the risotto.
Do you like mussels? I love them and they are not expensive here normaly.

I've never actually tasted one. My husband eats mussels sometimes with spaghetti at Olive Garden.

Sometimes I stem them and make some mayo with garlic and eat them out of the pot in the middle of the table.
