I am making some Mississippi pot roast, but I am using chicken breasts instead of beef. I found this recipe on Pinterest, pinned it because it's so simple and easy. It has been a favorite for a while until we got tired of it. Tonight, I am giving it a little twist.
I put 4 chicken breasts in a crockpot, a stick of unsalted butter, aus jus gravy powder, ranch powder seasoning, and a splash of chicken bone broth. I put it on low in the crockpot. Then when it's almost done, I will shred the chicken, then put in pepperoncini peppers. I do not have fresh peppers, so I just use the pickled one in a jar. After an hour, it's ready to be served with croissant or rolls.
Hopefully my husband likes it.

I am not much of a peper person, or onion. Typically, I'll edit a recipe to suit my needs. Given that I can be very picky. Hopefully, the twist goes over well with the hubby.

It sounds nice although I don“t use some of those ingredients.
