October 27 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day.
I'm thankful therapy went well. I gained one more degree on my knee bend. 
My cart I use for groceries and almost everything else broke yesterday. I'm thankful the hardware store accepted the gift card I got from them four years ago when I returned an item and the refund was put on it. I used it to purchase the new cart.
I'm thankful I finished the notifications early today. Spending time with you is always a joy.
I'm thankful I'm using my walker less today than in the past weeks since my first surgery. I know I'll be using it again when I get the next surgery. My knee is healing well and getting stronger.
I'm thankful for the doctor's report on my hemoglobin results. The numbers have improved. The nurse didn't tell me what the number was, but it's good to know nothing will hold up the next surgery on Monday.
I'm thankful for the love of my children and grandchildren. I'm thankful for all the help my younger son has been to me through this time.
I'm thankful for a warm apartment, food on my table, and a bed to sleep in.
I'm thankful to wake up each day to the promise of new experiences, new friends and old, and know God will never abandon me.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. It's coming along well as I fill in the gaps and get the timeline working the way it should. I know I won't finish it before the end of the year as I originally planned. I still hope to get it published next year. We'll see how that goes the closer I get to finishing it.
I'm thankful for mindless TV programs. I added a new channel to my Roku a couple of weeks ago - Peacock. It's free. I recommend it if you can download it. You can even download it to your computer or laptop. I'm watching a couple of programs I haven't seen in many years and always enjoyed.

great news they honored that gift card. see? 'twas not meant to be a cash refund fer a reason :)
i tried peacock. 'twas not 'mpressed with their offerin', though did manage to get a movie to play'n my ol' laptop with slow country net. 'nly sat'n spun 3 times, which 'twas 'mpressive. most oft i cannot e'en make 't through a 25 minute long quiltin' tutorial, lol.
thankful the big yellow tom walked'n water today'n didn't need rescued. the ice'n the pond must be thicker'n i thought coz he's a hefty fella. got some good pics 'f some birds. 2 flyin' lemons 't the ice laden waterfall. thankful fer a brief reprieve 'f the winds. hopeful the water thaws come 'morrow 's i've nearly gone through my 'ntire stash 'f such that i'd drawn'p prior to this front. yup, knew 'twas gonna happen. jest didn't know fer how long. sigh..
oh, thankful fer visitin' with my sweet momma earlier'n she 'twas'n good spirits.

oh heck no, lol. i pay fer country satellite. 'tis half 'f what they'd be providin' that fiber schtuff fer.
fingers crossed the pump survives. 've 'nother, but've been hopin' to get the waterfalls situated (aka: someone with brawn to move very heavy rocks 
). 'd sure make me 'nhappy if'n this'un went out, 'tis jest the correct size (volume moved) fer the current waterfall situation. the other'll pump 4x's much water. that lil fake gizmo i'm currently usin' 'd not handle such volume 'n water'd be shootin' 'cross the pond 'n to the house, lol.

I hate it when the show buffers and just hangs for a long time. I usually see that happen when the weather is bad. I like older shows. Much better than what they're offering today. It's free so I'm not going to pass up free.
That's good you didn't need to rescue the tom from the pond. I hope it warms up enough for you to draw water again. I'm glad you had enough to last until now. I look forward to seeing those pics of the flying lemons.

@crazyhorseladycx It's probably a good thing there aren't snowflakes here right now. Though it's too warm to cause problems on the roads.
You have free Internet? Now I am jealous.
Good idea if the water is too low. You don't need the pump to burn out.

I am thankful for having another day to enjoy and just having a nice and quiet day to work on my laptop, The day was sunny too so that helped my mood,
