These days Start-ups spawn very frequently, however, there are a few who sustain for long. 90% of them die in the initial few years and only 10% sustain even after 3-4 years of their inception. And even out of them, there are many which are just a replicated business model catering to the same target market as some would have done before and there are a very handful of them who must have come up with new ideas..

An ideal example of a start up growing to dizzy heights and collapsing under its own weight is Oyo. It is amazing to see the growth of this company within short period of time and collapsing in no time facing this covid problem.

That's true!!... Only under such economic downturn like what the world experienced recently, the stability and robustness of startup would be displayed.

@jiggy123 Very true. Those in air without any solid fundamentals can not sustain in hostile conditions.
