What a Horrible Halloween for me

I was watching TV after my dinner at 8. It's my habit to lie down on the sofa while watching and I did not notice that I was able to sleep in that state. The kid was on the other seat watching and did not bother to wake me up. Past 11 I was awaken by Cotton's(the cat) fall on the sofa where my face on. Claws hitted part of my face creating painful scratch on the area just below my left eye down to my nose. It bleeds for minutes and it's hurting until now.
Why the accident? The cat jumped on the wall trying to catch the lizard crawling on there.

That is terrible. That scar is on the dangerous part of the face. See to it is cleaned and treated well.

@ZedSmart The keloid could be avoided if you apply aloe vera now.

@ZedSmart there are medications to prevent scarring or at least limit it.

OUch, that does sound painful. I have cats, and they love giving me pinpricks or full-on scratches from time to time, if I'm not careful. I can't wear long pants all of the time, either. So when a cat wants to be a lap cat, that's where it can be a real problem.

@ZedSmart Sometimes you never know. My cats will land on my legs or stomach all the time. Or use me for a bed. They aren't light animals, so it can hurt when they land.
