Just the way it showed....

It's 10:23 PM and here I am in my bed after a refreshing hot shower. The day went well and it felt good to be back to my students after two weeks
I am all done for the day. And now I can spend some time here before I fall asleep
I mentioned about buying few dresses for myself from my online earning. And it was the first time that I ordered saree ( traditional female dress of our country). I always love to visit my favorite stores here and choose them personally after checking a lot of them. But courtesy pandemic I didn't feel that to be safe. Well my choice for saree is limited. I wear silk or cotton. So that limits my search to a great extent.
I went the site of one of my trusted brands called Nalli Sarees. They are popular and renowned for their silk saree but I like them for their good quality and reasonably priced cotton ones. I ordered two cotton saree there and today I received one of them. You can see it in picture.
I am happy with the quality and color. Glad that it's just the way it showed on the site
.
Now I move on to my notifications. They have crossed 300 mark and I really need to knock them as much as I can before going to sleep.
Good night. See you later.

The sarees look great. My wife too has got a couple of sarees in the last few months.
I wonder why to collect things which one wears once in a few years. It is so puzzling!

I wear cotton sarees to work also especially on PTM and when I am conducting workshops for parents and teachers. So I use them. Mom is a professor and she is 24*7 in sarees. So I often pass it on to her. We exchange a lot of them and so all of them get used. I also do this exchanging with my niece and sister in law. So it doesn't go waste.
Well many things are puzzling about ladies.

We are taking virtual classes. Physical school is open on volunteer basis for High school but not much have opted for it. So only few teachers are taking turn to go once in a week to help few students there.

Same here. I just like to hold the fabric, check the texture and try it out on ourselves look into mirror and then decide. Compare a few holding them together and then nail down one. Well we do not get to do so online.
I loved this color combination.
Looks sober and elegant.

@arunima25 very true, prolly why i've troubles gettin' motivated to make 'nother quilt. e'en with that i wish to run my fingers o'er the fabrics, see the weaves 'n patterns. i did get some pre-cuts (they'd a really good sale'n such - less'n half price) that i'm quite pleased with. jest've nothin' to use 's the background fabrics. 've not been brave 'nough to go to the quilt/fabric shop e'en though they're takin' 's many precautions's they can. kinda hard to sanitize all that fabric which one might'a touched. ya know folks've snuck those gloves off 'n touched... jest human nature.
i love 't, too! 've no doubts suitable fer many occasions 'n looks beautiful'n ya. :)

That won't be very near. I have to get the blouse stitched. And I am not going to a tailor soon. I might even gift it to my cousin whose birthday comes in December. Not yet planned. I generally wear my saree for a couple of times and then it goes to mom who makes a full use of it.

@arunima25 I agree that it isn't the same as in stores. I need to feel the fabrics, look at the craftsmanship, try on the clothes for fit, look closely for details and quality. With the pandemic, I know I can trust my favorite store. Shipping and returns are free and easy if necessary. I'm very indecisive and tend to buy everything I like all at once.
You are lucky your mom will get to enjoy your saris.

Even I liked the color combination. This one is not silk but cotton. Oh! The fun of shopping in store is way more. You can touch, feel , hold a few together and compare and then finally decide one. All those are not there in online store. I will wear this one once or twice and then exchange it with my mom.
