Toys for Tots

Every year from the time I was Little Misses age I have bought a girls and boys toy for a needy child and donated it to Toys for Tots, but with COVID this year I am wondering how that’s going to work. Generally I’ve had Big E and Little Miss pick out the gifts, nothing insanely expensive generally around $10 to $20 but honestly this year I’m thinking of just giving the gifts to our local charity...

I do not know what any group is going to do for children for Christmas.

@Dreamerby I have a friend that I used to volunteer for, she runs a wonderful charity up here called Nancy’s Hope, she’s definitely on the list...

@Michellekidwell Yeah they will. If you give it to the local charity, then give it to a reliable one which will distribute the gifts among the children before Christmas.

Many places still accept gifts both new and old. My grandkids donated a lot of toys before they moved to New Jersey. Most can be sprayed or wiped down or left alone for 24 hours.

I would still give to toys for tots, this way you know they'll be given to the kids. Much needed especially during covid

I plan on it, I just don’t know where to give it to them, generally they have bins at the restraints up here, but we are about to head for another shutdown here...

Why not call and ask what's the best route to go?
