The Secret Service, most likely, is protecting the presumptive president now.

Am a couch potato for the best loved American President movies: First Daughter, Air Force One, Olympus Has Fallen, In the Line of Fire, American President, etcetera. If we review these movies in-depth, the underlying theme is the protection of the president, and the first family. That is the duty of the secret service. Wondering if the secret service is actually safe-guarding the presumptive president and vice-president now. That would be good scenes to watch.

Of all the movies, I think I had only watched the Air Force One. I'm not sure if what scenario I'm going to tackle but I have it in my mind. Maybe, I just have to reserve it Ms.Eileen he he as I do not have much knowledge about US politics.

Air Force One is the best. It's a perfect movie. I still watch it every other season. The musical theme is very pervading. In the movie, you could see how the secret service are willing to give their lives just to protect the president. Admirable men of valor.

@eileenleyva and I admire Harrison Ford for his portrayal of this movie.

@ZedSmart I second the motion. I am a fan. I liked the performance of Gary Oldman, too. A credible, despicable terrorist.

I'm guessing that until Biden is officially declared as President he doesn't have a Secret Service detail yet. He most likely has his own security team watching over him right now.

All the suspense of the election is getting into many right now. Am also watching now what the results would be. Am pretty sure secret service will be protecting both presidents right now until an official declaration has been finalized. Looks like the incumbent might fight to the last to stay in power.

@eileenleyva Will see about that. I am looking forward for a peaceful transition than a very messy legal battle over that. But from what I am seeing he is going towards that direction.

@rsa101 The law suits will not prosper. The Republicans did win in the two houses of congress. If the counting is found faulty for the incumbent, the same will be for the rest of the Republicans. The incumbent, as usual, has no logic.

The crazy occupant of the White House is in a shockingly sullen mood, a far cry from the outrageous outbursts that diminished the dignity of the highest of the land. The law suits have no bearing on a legitimate, highly organized counting of the ballots. The impudence of a liar ignoring the 'writing on the wall.' Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin The Secret Service will be equipped with straight jackets, one each for the liar, his sons and daughter, and the rest of his minions. Straight away, not to towers but asylums.
