The sound is like small stones dropping on the roof / myLot

There's a short pouring of the rain lately here. After that I heard sounds from the house roofing and it caught my attention because it's like small stone dropping on it. Those were droplets of rain came after another which I do not like because it's irritating to listen with.

Not sure if it's possible here but no, it's still liquid. Just maybe just have weight enough to create a sound when drop Ms.D.

It happens all the time we are in the Philippines... :) And I think it has something to do with how our roof was built. We don't have a thick ceiling or soundproof ceiling just like the other house I guess. Have a great day, but hey, enjoy these small irritations you're going to miss it too... as the time goes by. The difference is, it's not pouring but dropping few and then another because it dropped this part of the roof and then to others parts next so on and so forth.
