Memories with smell

November 7, 2020 4:38am CST
How do we associate some memories with smell? Like one certain smell makes us remember all the memories we had with the place/ event and this smell is unique for every human so there's no way to describe too. Is this some supernatural power or a blessing for humans? What are your opinions about this and do you feel the same?

Yes, when I smell certain things I get the memories of my childhood living without any sense of care in the world.
