Inspiration for a Family Fight / myLot

In one of my stories, I'm writing about two siblings, a brother and a sister that have not talked for a few years. At the time the fight that they had seemed so important but now that her brother is missing, the fight seems so trivial. What would you fight about that would make you feel that way? I have a few ideas but I could use a few more.

Very interesting, she should look for her brother and settle the cause of their fight. Sibling will always be siblings and their connection will never be cut no matter how big their differences will be.

Hmm... The siblings actually love each other very much. The sister tells her brother everything, he's quite a good listener, but he's not as open as his sister. He keeps more to himself, and prefers to do things his way. The sister likes to get involved. And this could get annoying for the brother. One day, after many many many times of the sister trying to suggest stuff to her brother, he explodes! This was something seemingly small like rearranging his furniture or something.

But he got so annoyed (perhaps he had other problems he was thinking about at the time as well) that he literally exploded, telling his sister it's his life, his things, his decision, etc. The sister was hurt so much she gave her brother some distance, some space... Too much space? Because it's been a few years since they last talked...
