Got the Christmas Tree up!

Even though here in Canada today, the weather literally felt like a warm spring day! (Which is so odd at this time of year!)
We still decided to put up the Christmas tree this year! I think amongst all the chaos going in the world, we did it because we wanted some "GOOD" in our lives. Seems there's been so much negative in the world going on, and with all the sadness going on as well, we wanted something that would make us happy, every time we looked at it. A Christmas tree!
The past couple of years, we didn't put it up. This year, we decided we ought to be festive. It will lighten up our moods! So far it seems to be working! 
The Christmas music we had on playing got us more into the "joyful" mood as well!

No, we'll put ours up in December. Right now, we have a jack-o-lantern (plastic) that we usually keep up for October and November. Kind of our Thanksgiving and Halloween decor. We like to be non-traditional and different.

Well, that's still cool beans! It's good to be different! Last year and the year before, I didn't decorate at all. Figured this year I needed to get into the spirit!

@x0MandyLynn0x I've always found decorating to be kind of fun. Okay, I didn't like spending hours untangling Christmas lights, but yeah.I do love the finished product.

Yeah, it seems that's usually the time people put their tree up. We have our Thanksgiving here in Canada in October.

Aww! I've always loved having a tree up for a bit. I like the lights the most. Just makes me feel at peace, ever since I was a kid!

I hope your Christmas tree being up will make you feel very joyful. I am planning to put my Christmas tree up on 1st December. I plan to get my children to help me. I think I will need to decide where to put my Christmas tree. Yesterday I paid for 4 Christmas presents on Amazon using a voucher I had earned from Top Cash Back.

I used to do it around then when I used to get a real tree. I kind of miss the smell of those! But I guess in the long run a fake one saves ya money!

Don't think too much of the world will be celebrating it this year. Ever since my Grandma passed back in 2015, I haven't really enjoyed Christmas with family gathering as much as I used to. It changed for me...

That is a beautiful tree. I did not decorate at all for myself last year and as you said with all that was happening this year I will probably put up a little tree but at the beginning of December,

Your tree is beautiful. With the way 2020 has been going, there's no reason not to put up your tree so early, if it helps make you happy and festive. We need something to be joyful for, given the crappy year we've all been having. I always buy a live tree every year, so I won't be able to put up my Christmas tree until the tree lots start selling them. But just seeing your photo brought a little cheer to me!
