I felt bad today

My husband went for duty in the church today. My mil is misbehaving for no reason this morning,so i called my husband to picked me up at lunch time at home. Then a friend call to pick me here if i am bored. I informed my husband about,he said go. Then when friends are near the gate to pick me,this mil make a mess.She doesn't want me to go out.her reason she doesn't know those people i am going,i said i informed my husband, she no,don't go. What the hell,she want me just to be at home 24 hours.Go to hell.

Old people tend to be conservative. Talk to your husband, ask him to try to talk to his mom. Maybe she will listen.

I think that it’s more like trying to get in control since your her daughter in law then she considers you as someone who she can control like her sons and daughter. I think she has forgotten that everyone in the house are adults already that she cannot just order to stay home when ordered.
