'Do we need to check sale or discount tags carefully when shopping?'

I am sure some of you have ways to buy something online and offline. Checking them will be a key factor. Some companies will promote discounted prices, but they weren't. In fact, they are the original prices. I noticed this concern in some malls in my city.
What are some ways to avoid spending more than you should?
What can you do to make shopping enjoyable?

I would! Especially if it's a high value item, and if multiple stores sell it. I would like a good value and good savings. I also check other cash back apps, like Rakuten, to see if my purchase qualifies me for some cash back. It's nice to buy an item and then receive a check in the mail after a few weeks as cash back.

Yes sometimes things are not really bargains.

Sometimes retailers jack up the prices on items one week, just so they can fake discount them the next!

Personally, if you're trying to save money, do some compearasion shopping. Many stores will offer you a product at a discount if you found it elsewhere. They call it price matching. Often times I've also discovered that Online will offer something cheaper than in-person. So if I pay something in advance online, I can get it at the lower rate, and send my husband to get it for me in-person. I've been doing this for months with my cat's meds.
