i have type 2 diabetes does anyone else?

I recently found out I'm in the pre-diabetic stage. After seeing what my uncle went through with it, I don't have a desire to suffer the same horrific problems he had. My plan is to excerise regularly and eat a healthy diet, trying to cut out simple carbs. If anyone has any questions about this, feel free to ask.

I do, I have had it for 6 years now, I am on oral meds, and 2 types of insulin.
