It's Pizza Night!

It is a very busy morning. Work is crazier than usual as we have to quarantine more employees for community exposure to COVID, and so we have to juggle everyone's schedule to maintain coverage. On top of that, our admin and support staffs are now going to work remotely once again. Just imagine all the logistics and planning that we have to do in a short time!
In the middle of all these, I forgot to take out the chicken from the freezer. I am supposed to air fry them for our dinner tonight, but because I have a lot of things on my mind, I totally forgot about that darned chicken. Oh well, I guess I will have to bake one of those frozen pizzas that I have been "stocking" for lazy days, or nights like this when I am simply too overwhelmed to do anything complex for dinner (not that fried chicken is complicated by any means, but you get the picture).

Yes, I totally get the picture. If I forget to thaw the chicken, I might change the menu as well.
We have a small cafe in front of the house. Sometimes they would sell fried chicken. On my lazy days, I would opt to buy those instead. Mom would be annoy though. 'There's chicken in the fridge!' Yeah, but they're frozen, so...

That reminds me of my own mom. Whenever I am feeling lazy or just so tired from working the whole day, I will just buy some cooked food to go from restaurants. She will say, we have food at home! Yes, we do, but somebody has to cook it still.
