Progress on Nanowrimo 2020

I just broke 30 K on my Nano Novel, its actually going more smoothly than I expected, though I know I am going to have a serious round of edits but that’s okay. I’m going to add a bit more to my word count today, and hopefully get a book review done. But I will take what I can get. Were supposed to be having a storm moving in, and just praying we don’t loose power.

I am participating this year as well though I am still at the 20k mark. I am kind of cheating a bit since everything has already been written. There has been this world I have been building and writing on since I was 12 years old. And we have a neighbor who has set her apartment on fire twice already this year. Since I am not really keen on losing all that work I am using the event to rediscover all these old writings and motivate me to make it all digital so if something ever happens to the original stuff I have a back up.

@Michellekidwell It has been a lot of fun and I am finding a lot of interesting things that I had completely forgotten about. Its also a bit painful sometimes reading some of the stuff I wrote as a kid.

You are making excellent progress with your writing. I hope you don't lose power. I'm glad to see that the west coast is getting some rain. Are the wildfires still a problem?

Congrats on 30k!!! YOU ROCK!!! You mentioned you pray you don't lose power from the storm... I wrote my first novel in longhand during the ice storm in Indiana in 2006 I think was the year. I wrote by daylight and then by candlelight. We were without power for 7 nights and 8 days. I wrote the rest on the computer when the power came back on. That was a seriously long week that seemed one hundred times longer than it was. Keep going fellow writer, you got this!

Good luck with the NaNoWritMo Challenge. Been meaning to do it the past couple of years but never got around doing it. Hopefully, the storm isn't that bad and you don't lose power.
