Grocery Pick-Up

I just placed our Walmart grocery pick-up order. I schedule the pick-up between 6pm to 7pm tomorrow. I have to swing by the office tomorrow morning for a meeting, I am not sure how long that will last. But just in case it went longer than usual, then I should be able to make it to my pick-up time.
Prior to the pandemic, I have been using this app whenever I don't feel like braving the whole sea of humanity at Walmart. The downside is that there will always be items that they either substitute or mark as out of stock. But when I go inside the store that very day and time, I was able to find it. It does not seem to be out of stock either, so I am not sure if the order picker is not too keen in filling the orders, or if the inventory just got recently stocked.
Other grocery stores offer curbside pick-up, which is similar to the Walmart app. I wouldn't be able to tell which is better as our small town only has Walmart.

There's a pick up option at a supermarket in the another district. Just give them a call and pick up the stuff later. Since I am the type to see for myself and compare, I still need to go to the store personally. That's why I try to find the day and time with the least people around.

Yes I feel they do that all the time to sell the substitutes which are not much in demand or they earn more profit margin from that very brand
