I mentioned yesterday that I need to come in today, which is my rest day, to work on our presentation for our Wednesday call/conference. I came in around 8:30 am so I can set-up and get settled before the other managers arrive at 9:00 am. Then my laptop decided to install its update and took a long time updating. Then I almost slapped my own forehead: I set my laptop to auto-update during Sunday morning so it will not disrupt my regular work. Well, it is most definitely not my regular working hours, and I forgot about this setting. After my laptop was done updating, we all went to the huge conference room so we can social distance, wore our masks and started "yelling". Not really yelling, but we have to speak louder as our voices are a bit muffled because of our masks. Everyone is so intent on getting this done because the rest of them got more work to do on the production floor, and I told them I have to leave my laundry on a cycle to drive all the way there. After 40 minutes, we were done. I finalized our presentation and sent it to them for a final review, see if there are any more stuff that I missed so we can still revise before Wednesday. Now I am back home, back to my laundry and mylotting. I am sitting here in our living room with a pot of green tea as a little treat for getting this out of my to-do list.

@Raine38 It feels good when you have finished all your work in time. Time management is the best answer .
