Another Classmate Died

A former classmate of mine sent me a message that Lyn, one of our classmates back in elementary school, has passed away. I was shock because I have not been keeping tabs on our batch on Facebook. She has been battling cancer for years, and then she contracted COVID-19 and it was just too much for her system. She finally succumbed to the complications and with a weakened immune system she was just too weak to fight. It was very tragic, she has a 9-year old boy left behind, and a grieving husband who adores her. She's only 35 years old. She was a fighter, she will not give up and to help out with the finances she will use her Facebook to sell stuff. If people donate some money, she sends them a receipt of where the money went - not that the donors were asking for receipts. She is just that kind of person who wants to make sure that she gives credit to people and to assure that their trust are not misplaced. You hear of cancer affecting many people and tearing families apart almost everyday. But when it happens to folks you know, you cannot believe it. Lyn is the second one in our batch who died at such an early age. Last year it was Mary Ann. This year has been very sad and very difficult. I hope we do not lose anybody else.
