She’s Having A Rough Day

I texted my Aunt a bit ago to check on her, and unfortunately she’s feeling rather rough, after a couple of intense rounds of Chemotherapy yesterday, they started her on a regime immediately because unfortunately it’s stage 4 and it has Metastasized so they aren’t messing around.
I really wasn’t expecting a response from her at all, but got a brief one. I’ll text her to check on her again tomorrow, but right now I want her to rest.
Anyway I find myself turning to old songs to find comfort, and Jaci Velasquez was a favorite of mine.

So sorry to hear that. I think going through Chemotherapy is a very hard thing to do. I saw it how my mom tried to be strong for us but the effect can just be very devastating for anyone taking it. I hope she goes through with it although there are no guarantees on it but we can always pray that she does go through it smoothly.
