Long-term relationship problems / myLot

I've been with my significant other over 12 years and have 2 kids but for past couple years we mostly feel like roommates..we fight quite a bit and when we do get along I don't think I feel the same over the top love I felt for so many years...he knows we have problems and we both want to stay together... Just wondering if there's any long term relationship/marriages out there that got through the hard time and are happier than ever? What types of things did you do? (We can't really afford dates but try to do new things together sometimes it helps for a bit but then goes back to how it is)

I am also thinking the same way. My last relationship is a long-term one. We decided to end it because it is not working anymore. For you, it is quite different. It is not easy to break free because of marriage and kids.

I just read this now after reading your other post. It seems difficult if there are children involved. I am only married for more than two years now, so I may not have enough wisdom than the others but I hope that you could keep an open-communication to try fixing things between the two of you.
