I'm going to sprain my foot yet

Without leaving the bed. When I nap or sleep sometimes I dream about falling. Falling off a curb or a bit ago I dreamt my right foot slipped off a stone while my left foot flew to the left. Both times my foot would jerk on the bed. Better than the spasms I had a few days prior. But these happen too much especially the day following a bandage change.
It's hard to rest sometimes without wondering whether I'll be falling in my sleep.
I am joking about spraining my foot but the jerking or spasms are unpleasant. This was written last week and I've learned to relax my foot better this week so it doesn't happen so much.
Have you ever had realistic dreams affecting you in the hear and now?
Byw, I'll be fine. It's just weird when it happens. At least I'm off work for a bit.

I've had dreams like that. Sad thing, they've almost come true. I've actually fallen out of bed after dreaming about it.

I better not fall out as I'd fall on the sore foot first.

@MALUSE yes we know that song here too. I've not fallen out of bed yet so hopefully won't need that wood holding me in, lol.

Have you ever heard of restless leg syndrome? It sounds like you are experiencing this, to some degree. In bad dreams, I'm usually being chased by someone. My dreams are usually good ones.

Yes I've heard of that but I never had it before the current wound showed up and actually not actually until last week.
It's not doing it as much as it was last week at least.

@kobesbuddy I find if I turn my foot more to the left I can relax it more so it's not an issue. In fact a few times I've had to look to see where my foot was because it feels like it's on the other leg when it isn't.

Ideas are not uncommon while sleeping that's why it's recommended that writers keep a pad and paper by their bedside.

I won't fall off the bed at least or that would have happened already. I'll be careful.
