How Much Money Would This Save You?

If you had a machine (known as a molecular factory) where you could browse through a catalog of common items, click the one you want, and it builds it from molecules in the air, how much do you think you would save every month? The possible items it can build are endless. This prototype makes fuel by taking carbon from the air. (Note: This article is from two years ago. I imagine it has advanced some since then)

It would probably save me around 2000 pounds a year. When busy I don't have time to compare prices and I just purchase the item.
