One friend here in mylot has expressed desire to understand the Book of Revelation. The book, as many claim, is a difficult read. It is. But since Revelation is the final book of the Bible, we need to study. Revelation 4 is a guided tour of heaven. John wrote his visions of the Throne in Heaven similar to that of the apocalyptic literature of Daniel, Ezequiel, and Isaiah. Verses 6 to 8 speaks about four creatures with eyes..... "In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who was, and is, and is to come.” Saint Augustine identified the four creatures as the four Gospel writers. The image of the eyes, front and back, are symbolisms of looking back in history and seeing into the future. Sight provides the gift of insight. That is why the seers could anticipate or determine the future, They could see. As stewards of our Lord, we must also open our eyes and see the mysteries of our God. We must anticipate the Second Coming of our Lord.

I would like to understand Revelation too and I have several books on it. I also have a series of fiction books called "left Behind" which try to see the end times as it might happen. They are works of fiction but they are based on prophetic fact as seen in the book of Revelation. I'm also interested in the Nephulim and I have a book to read called "Judgement of the Nephulim" which I'm looking forward to reading.

Revelation 22:18-19 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. Fiction is not advised in the study of the Bible, especially Revelation which has been interpreted in many vicious ways. Perhaps it is prudent to consult the teachings of the Church Fathers on this. What I know is that Nephilim is a Hebrew word which could either mean giants or fallen angels. It was taken to mean that the fallen ones were the fruit of succumbing to corrupt Cainite culture. Cain was the immoral son of Adam. The sons of God who were the offspring of Seth, the righteous son. There is a book by Dr. Scott Hahn that explains this - A Father Who Keeps His Promises. I have not read it yet because I don't have a copy.

@sharonelton From St. Thomas Aquinas's Summa Theologica: "But God's holy angels could not fall in such fashion before the deluge. Hence by the sons of God are to be understood are the sons of Seth, who were good; where by the daughters of men the Scriptures designate were those who sprang from the race of Cain. Nor is it to be wondered that giants would be born of them, for they were not all giants, albeit there were many more before than after the deluge."

@eileenleyva I didn't understand a word of that. And Satan was a fallen angel who tempted Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden so, erm, fallen angels were around before the flood. And when Satan fell 1/3 of all the angels who were followers of him fell with him.
