An Elks Lodge handing out turkeys to citizens in Schuylkill County

I admire the work of the National Elks Lodge for their work of volunteers who went to Schuylkill County to give away turkeys to the citizens of one of their small cities near Wilkes Barre. The local Elks Lodge handed out around 125 turkeys to the families in their county who are facing hard times due to the Coronavirus that has affected the economy in that area. The free turkeys were picked up by the families who appreciate having a meal on Thanksgiving at a food bank in town. Even though this year has been harsh for a lot of us due to the pandemic and natural disasters, many charities are doing their part to make our lives better.
