Hunting season

United States

I live in Wisconsin and today begins rifle hunting season for deer. My husband and his family are all avid hunters. He is out there right now and I don't plan to see him much today. Does anyone else here deer hunt?

Is there any limit for the amount of deer that you can hunt?

Yes you have to buy a license each year for about $25 and you get a tag to shoot 1 buck and 1 doe... and you have to have taken a hunter safety class to buy a license..

@Cheyee the DNR (department of natural resources) tries to keep people safe and you're supposed to register the deer with the tag once you kill it and report online ( it used to be at random locations like bars and grocery stores and they kept track) but people can cheat and kill more than you're allowed because the DNR isn't really going to come check your freezer to see how much venison you have..they could but they don't..

Nope. But hunting just isn't for me.
