Have you ever not gone to the hospital for a serious injury?

A couple months ago I hurt myself on a trampoline. I felt my knee pop in and out but I did not want to go to the hospital. I don't have insurance and I just really didn't want to know what was wrong how bad it was.
I spent the next two weeks not being able to walk or put any weight on my foot at all it hurt a lot and I just kept googling what might be wrong.
I am pretty sure I tore my meniscus and also sprained my ankle. It has been 10 weeks and I am still limping with a knee brace on but I'm back at work and able to do most daily activities.
Have you ever been scared to go to the hospital?

Sorry about your injury. Hope you get well soon. I did break a bone in my finger when i was teenager and did not go to hospital. The pain went away in about two weeks

I got hit by car when i was kid. But i refused telling my parents. I dont have any serious wound, but i got so much bruise. Probably bruised bone. But in the end my parents knew from our neighbor. My parents got really angry. I didnt go to school for a week

I don't have serious injury like that. Once I hit my foot at the bathroom's door, one of the nails almost got off. It's more painful if I left it hanging so I gritted my teeth and pulled it out. I remember there was lots of blood. Then I wash it off and wrap it. The nail took some time to grow back. It's a bit thinner than the rest.
