Day 106 Promise 565 Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (KJV) Bullies like to condemn people who are different. They don’t understand the difference; they condemn it. Paul told the Romans they were free of condemnation because they believed in Jesus Christ and not after the ways of the world. The ways of the world, the flesh, brought sin and death. Because they believed in Jesus, they were no longer subject to the law of sin and death. As Christians, people bring accusations against you because they don’t understand the freedom you have in Jesus Christ. They only know the world around them and are subject to the lusts which drive them. When you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, you gave up the lusts of the world that led to sin and death. You no longer followed your flesh and its desires but followed Jesus and the law of the Spirit which gave you life. Therefore, you are no longer condemned, but free. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for the freedom I have in You. When the world tries to condemn me, let me know I am free from all condemnation the world would put on me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
