The Dire Foreboding.

If today people already say they have been extremely distressed by the CoViD-19 fatigue, take heed, for more unsettling things are yet to come. Yes, it's the dire foreboding that the liturgy speaks of 'So the angel set his sickle to work on the earth and harvested the whole vintage of the earth and put it into a huge winepress, the winepress of God's wrath.' Revelation 14: 19 Then in the Luke's Gospel. our Lord Jesus specifically said, 'All these things you are staring at now -- the time will come when not a single stone will be left on another; everything will be destroyed.' When the apostles pressed further for when this would happen and asked for signs, our Lord answered, 'Take care not to be deceived, because many will come using my name and saying, "I am the one" and "The time is near at hand." Refuse to join them. And when you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be terrified, for this is something that must happen first, but the end will not come at once.' Then he said to them, 'Nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes and plagues and famines in various places; there will be terrifying events and great signs from heaven.' This is not meant to scare anyone, because fear is never an option in God's circle. Rather, this is meant to prepare us all, for more suffering to come. CoViD-19 is a pandemic that supposedly humbled man. The virus was already the single biggest threat to man. Yet, despite the bodies in containers called refrigerated morgues, hospitals filled to capacity, statistics showing death every minute, man - that super duper of a creature, still insists he needs no mask. There was already hail and fire, flooding and earthquakes, pestilence and disease, and yet man chooses conspiracy theories and clapping to false ministers professing prosperity religions. Sigh! What more can our Lord do to tell us that His holiness is incompatible with the sins of the world!
