Shawl I again?

Yes, shawl because I bought another skein of yarn and have started another shawl. This one is already better because I'm making an extra stitch at the end. Well, technically I messed up and didn't follow the pattern correctly the first time. It still worked out for me, but the neckline isn't as big in that shawl. I'll show pictures once I get more work on it done. I went to the store today, walked around the neighborhood and am now home and trying to get started on some things I need to get done.. Well, yeah.. No I do need to get them done, but I guess I could give myself a break. How's your Tuesday?

@thelme55 It's great when we can keep busy enough for time to fly by! I like slow days too, but when I'm working I'd rather the time fly by.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I agree. Time is flying fast especially when I am so busy.

Good luck with your shawl. My Tuesday is the same old, same old. Hubs will be going to the store to pick up some turkey parts.

Oh yum! I was surprised today when I saw how much was gone from the shelves at my store. Though, admittedly, I didn't look in very many areas.

@LindaOHio Yeah. I think there's a huge scare of another lock down or worse number for the virus.

Yes you shawl . I got to the store early this morning - we will be taking our walk soon. When we get back, I hope to get a lot of cleaning done - but well, I say that everyday . Enjoy the rest of your day!

Thank You! I hope you enjoy yours. I need to unload the dishwasher but I haven't yet. Thirty minutes at a time, right? both in walking AND in getting the chores done.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I make the kids unload the dishwasher - part of their chores . Yep - 30 minutes at a time - that's pretty much it . And I could change my mind about things during each of those 30 minutes about the next 30 minutes .

@much2say Oh true! I do that all the time. I tell myself I'm going to walk thirty more minutes, or start cleaning the kitchen after I get done with the bathroom, but it never quite works that way.

I used to make shawls a long time ago. I have not done that in ages.

I think I'm quickly getting addicted to making them. I've been searching for patterns for different types too. Did you knit or crochet?

@cmoneyspinner One of my favorite youtube channels did a review on a knitting machine. She's also planning on giving one away. I might have to try to win that. A knitting machine might be easier to manage, don't you think?

@ScribbledAdNauseum - I learned how to crochet. I tried knitting but crocheting seems to be much easier.

@rakski I should have it done by tomorrow if I work hard on it today. I want to have it ready to wear on Saturday when I see friends.

Great day here. My grandmother had terribly dibiltating arthritis as a young adult, was able to do much but sit in her chair and crochet. She crochet 8 full bedspreads and many, many small pieces.

Oh wow, it's great she was still able to crochet even with the arthritis.

Are you thinking of giving someone a scarf? I think that would be an original gift.

No, i'm still going to make my friend the shawl. I'm making another shawl for myself first.
