He's a Tea Drinker Now

My husband does not like to drink green tea or tea in general. He has some in his cupboard when I first moved in to his house, but he said that he just keeps some handy in case he has some stomach issues. So basically tea for him is only taken when he's ill. When I started to live with him, I bought some more tea - green tea, sleepy time tea, probiotic/ginger and lemon tea, and even black tea. Then I would get some scones (since I do not know how to make them) and I will make some cheesecake bites to go with hot tea. I usually have a cup after work, while making dinner. And another cup before bedtime. I started offering a cup to him and he eventually took a liking to it. Now, whenever he comes home from working out (late afternoon to evening time), he would ask me if I can make some tea. He likes to use his mug while I want to use my tea cups and tea kettle. We still drink coffee, actually he said that he drinks more coffee now because of me. I need to wean him off of making a whole pot of tea and just use my keurig or nespresso that makes a solo cup each time, that way he does not go for more. If he sees there are still more, then he will keep on drinking it. Then I know he will still have some at work.

Wow. I never took to drinking tea, even though my mom had to have hers. Yes, I know how to make tea. (Used to have to for my mom sometimes), but I just never acquired a taste for it.

I never liked it at first, especially green tea. I initially thought it tastes like boiled grass clippings. But when I was sick, I can only either have water or tea. I then started to develop a liking for it.

@kaylachan That's how I would describe it. Or boiled leaves. Squeezing lemon and adding honey will really help with the taste if you're not used to it.

Mom is also a tea drinker. She can't drink coffee or she'll get stomachache. I, on the other hand, love coffee so much. But I still drink tea. I can't drink green tea though. The taste is too...peculiar to me. I just don't know how to describe it.

Like grass clippings? I love coffee too, and when I had too much I also have stomachache. I usually limit myself to a cup or two a day and that's it.
