Writing Christmas Cards

Since getting back from my two-week vacation, I have been swamped at work. I actually was able to only get our Christmas cards this afternoon. I have about 16 cards to write and mail, and I am already having a late start.
Then to make it worse, I cannot find my personal planner. I have three planners, which I know is insane. But I have different stuff to organize separately, and this system works for me. Said planner has all the mailing addresses of everyone in our mailing list. My husband told me that I will not have the same problem if only I keep information like this saved digitally.
While I do appreciate the convenience of technology, there are still some things that I prefer doing the traditional way. Like sending handwritten Christmas cards rather than making it online through websites similar to hallmark. There’s just something about receiving a letter or note made out of the sender’s own handwriting.
Besides, I told my husband that if ever either or both of us become famous, then or families and friends will have our “autographs” through those cards, and they might be able to sell them for a good price!

That's sweet and yes it's wonderful getting something like that in the mail..i was just talking about making a post for people to send my husband a birthday/Christmas card as he has to have open heart surgery the day after his birthday, and that's on 17 of this month.

If you can message me your mailing address we’ll surely send him one! I hope even though we’re practically strangers, he feels that there are people rooting out there for him. Send me your and his names and addresses and we’ll send one, hopefully it makes it in time.

Yes, but these are just family and really close friends. We also receive cards from most of them, and I feel like this is one of our traditions that we should continue despite the pandemic. More so that we are unable to visit with each other.

Nothing wrong with that. My husband tends to enjoy buying christmas cards to send to his family. The cards have messages already writen, but he adds his own touch.
