why did i write it?

out of all things, i thought of writing i love you, does it mean something or is it a sign, not like i thought of anyone when i wrote it down. well i also want to ask my mylot friends an important question. don't you ever doubt the love your family has for you or do you just don't worry about it. sometimes family members say they love me but what they do and keep doing show me otherwise and it hurts but they believe because i don't speak on it, that it's okay and it's not actually. what would you do if a family member was pretending to love you? would you confront them? i know i have confront a couple of them but they believe i'm wrong for thinking negative but the way am treated makes me think that way, i wouldn't bring up a situation because i felt i needed to argue. i brought up the situation because if i did it to them then it wouldn;'t be okay. so why should i be okay with it?

You can pretend to love someone but you can never make someone love you if they don't.

@Merliva It is a sad fact of life. If you can, surround yourself with people who care about you and maybe grow to love you.

If they aren’t showing love in their actions it definitely would make me wonder if they mean their words.

I grew up doubting the love my family had for me all of the time. I got my share of positivity and negativity from them. However, growing up I felt as if I was getting more negative than positive. They refused to accept I was happy with how I looked. I mean, really, I'd be a poster child for eating disorders based on their treatment. Needless to say, we don't speak anymore. Yes, I tried to extend the olive branch, but they didn't want to take it. So, It's just my husband and I.
