It wasn't bad, there was just too much stuff going on at once.
I was chatting with the brother of my friend who recently passed, and he was talking about a Zoom memorial for my friend/his brother that passed. My head hurts too much thinking of it all, but I'll try to give you a synopsis.
My friends brother said, when I said I didn't know anything about Zoom, that I would need a camera. I didn't have one. Then he said I could do it on my phone, but for reasons that would take too long to explain, I couldn't use the wi-fi code to connect my phone. So, we finally decided I should just get the camera, and he showed me one I could get on Amazon.
At the same time all this was going on, I was being invited to, joining, then entering a contest on a Facebook group. While my friend's brother and I were going on, I was told I won said contest, and my prizes were a virtual Amazon gift card and a choice of something at 50% off from the page hosts store.
So a the same time I'm trying to figure out what my friend's brother is getting me to do, the page host is giving me these really confusing directions on how to look at her merchandise.
Somewhere in here, I managed to purchase the web cam with the Amazon virtual gift card I had just won, and the page host kept trying to give me instructions on how to see her merchandise so I could choose something. Because of my scrambled brain or she wasn't being clear, I couldn't figure out what the instructions she was trying to give me meant.
Finally, after I had purchased the web cam, the FB page host just gave me a link to her Etsy shop, and I chose something from there, (the bracelet, which I didn't realize when I first saw it came with earrings) and copied/sent a photo to the FB host of what I'd like from her shop via FB messenger.
Oh--and when I tried to use the virtual gift card to purchase the web cam, I was told the code I put in was invalid. So, I told the FB host that, and she said, "Did you use XXXXXX?" I said "yes", and then she realized the code she'd sent was one number off, so she sent me the corrected code and it worked.
Thanking the Lord that 1) I won that Amazon gift card so that I didn't have to pay as much for the web cam (which wasn't super expensive, anywho) and 2) that my head did not explode after all of that !

(we need a "mind blown" emoji or something like that).
