The Rainbow Bridge Connection

This morning, my sister and I were casually talking about our dear departed canine and feline pets that crossed the rainbow bridge. I really feel so emotional whenever I recall my very own dog Thor, whose image is my profile picture here, that died while my son was in the drugstore buying intravenous fluids for him. I recall how sorrowful I was when I was touching his lifeless body. My son cried with me too. That is why I will never forget September 9 because that was the day he ran freely to the rainbow bridge. I cried a river. My son cried briefly when the kitten he found died despite the milk and feeding bottle and meds he bought for Solo. Another dog the 3 of us miss is our tiny cutie Chibi, the Pomeranian. He died of old age, we believe. We all cried. My son posted inn his timeline that Chibi waited for his arrival from school before he breathed his last. It was my sister who shouted,"Chibi left us". I cried buckets. We love our dogs dearly. They are a family. There are many more pets that left us for the rainbow bridge. RUN WILD, RUN FREE TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE, OUR DEAR PETS!

Losing a pet is still losing a loved one. But we must all cross the rainbow bridge and they will be there to greet us.

It is always heartbreak when a pet passes on but it is nice to have the photos and the memories,

Pets are indeed part of the family. I am glad you still remember each one of them. I’ve had a few pets myself and l remember all of them as vivid as yours.

our dogs were named in groups like: chocolate, royalties, places or cities, events, etc, so it is not hard to recall each one of them.

@ridingbet I don't know about humans, that is something to be debated.

Pets are beloved family members. I will never forget any of our dogs or cats that have passed away. I'm still having a difficult time with the loss of our precious Doodles.
