She got hearing aid for Christmas

My brother surprised us with an unexpected gift for my mom and it's an hearing aid. I was happy because I couldn't afford to buy one for her since it's kinda expensive and she kept refusing to get one. Now that she finally got one, it was I don't have speak louder to her. If only she would use it this whole, which she didn't. But i heard some people find it annoying to use.
