Going to a new Costco later

A Costco just opened last month but since I was off work I didn't feel right checking it out yet so now that I have a clean bill of health for my foot were checking it out today. I'm not planning on buying much. I need creamer and I want to see what they have for keto foods. Someone bought some chaffles at the Costco in Canada some time back. I've made my own before but I've been lazy. They make a low carb bagel treat too. Anyone else so at a Costco near you? I will do most of my shopping at my store where I work.

We are an hour away from a Costco. We go once in a while. What is a chaffle?

A chaffle is a sandwich, thin bread-like made with a mini-waffle iron and cheese. When I make them I use them instead of bagels. I mix eggs, cheese and either zucchini or green onions or ham chunks together. Pour into a hot mini waffle iron and cook until done. Oddly enough the cheese doesn't get stuck or burn. I'll put together some pics for you.

@paigea they are very good. I always want to make extra to freeze but I never make enough in my batch. I start with two eggs and throw stuff in. I use enough cheese too eliminate a lot of the runny parts of the eggs. I don't measure. If needed I add extra cheese after putting the batter into the waffle iron. I hope to make some for lunch after my Dr appointment this morning.

I’ve never been to a Costco. I have never seen one anywhere I have been.

They are similar to Sam's clubi think. They also require a membership to shop in them and much of their groceries are larger quantities. They have mostly foods but some clothing for warmer weather now and a lot of electronics and odd ball stuff found in places like lowes or home depot.

@MarshaMusselman I won’t shop at sams club because of having to pay a membership to shop there. I went once with a guest pass and the prices were the same as Walmart.

@shaggin the main difference is is you have a large family you can by in bulk. I don't shop at Walmart I shop mostly in my store but may go to Costco periodically. I was hoping to find more keto foods and they may have them I just need to keep looking. But I heard that not all stores are stocked the same way.

There's no store of that name near me, in fact I'm not sure if we have them in this country.

They may not be on that side of the pond. They are like a Sam's club do you have those there? I looked and it is an international company, but I don't know what countries they're in.

I now order from Costco. I noticed that various Costco stores carry different things depending how upscale the town is or isn't.

I'm sure that's true. It's the first time in a month that I walked so much and I was plumb tired and forgot to look for a few things on my list. But my husband picked those up when he was done working today at our store instead.

I am spoiled in that we have many Costcos spread out around here, but I mainly only go to one. I don't go often though - mainly for paper goods and a few food items (I never have a loaded cart like many others do).

I don't expect I'll ever have a loaded cart either. I also don't plan on going there much. I need to take back boots and might look for creamers to see what they have there and the sizes.

We may not go there much since we don't need to buy things in bulk but it's nice to have options. I was hoping to find a specific keto foods there but maybe next time we go I can hunt around more. I bought a pair of short boots but they would rub where I had the shors so I'm taking them back tomorrow.

It's it your choice not to be working? What kind of jobs did you do before?
