I am sure everyone will understand why watching the news lately is more of a pain, and sometimes Netflix and Hulu don't have anything new to offer (we've cut our cable - we were not happy and they keep increasing their prices). So I took to watching YouTube videos, and my recent discovery is MrBallen's channel.
He was a former navy seal who has a penchant for investigating strange and mysterious cases, cold files, and disappearances that usually is featured in the Missing 411 book. He is not truly a paranormal channel, but once in a while his feature videos will touch those. I like the format of his video - it was delivered in a story-telling way and the guy has a talent in storytelling. No outrageous effects, no over-the-top narration, it's just like listening to a friend tell you a story. He also makes it a point to reserach the stories very well, so I heard new information on cases that I have heard somewhere else before.
I do not know him personally, just sharing his work and how he can give other Netflix mystery shows a run for the money. So if you are into the strange, dark and mysterious real life stories, check out his channel, and let me know what you think.

You should check out podcasts too. Lots of that kind of stuff and more can be discovered there.

@Raine38 Ugh, yes I hate that for the social medial influencers / content creators. So much drama in that world.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Some of these influencers started out so young. And in a short span of time, they were able to have money and fame, and if their maturity is not yet developed, it will be hard to navigate through all that. My own brother in law's new wife started her own channel with hopes of making it big there. She would show their house and her kid without considering their safety as the videos are available to be viewed by anyone. But that is for another day's post.
