Longer day than I thought...

...of course, that was my fault, with my habit of leaving too early for things.
I walked to the bus stop at the shopping center, and took the bus to the post office (which is kitty-corner across the street from the Health Center).
I got my package mailed that I needed to, and picked up some Christmas stamps. One of the ladies that worked at the post office that I knew (from back when Mom and I frequented the post office more often) was going down the line that was there asking if anyone had things they needed to sell internationally. When she got to me, I said I didn't, so she took me to this other room and got my package ready to mail, and I got some Christmas stamps.
I went over to the Health Center and I was still an hour early for my appointment, so for something to do I walked back to the post office and back. Fortunately, I had remembered to bring a book, so I sat and read until someone came in and told me to come inside and wait, so I went inside and sat reading for a bit until my acupuncturist called me in.
I got that done, then it was outside again to wait for another bus. Took that bus to the store, where I got milk, TP and Paper towels (noticing that the paper product aisles are going bare again).
Took another bus home, walked the rest of the way, and then after putting the milk away I took Angel for an afternoon walk, then came home and fed her.
Now I am saying hello to you folks, and I need to go and do a bit of Bible study and figure out what to have for dinner.
Hope you've had a great morning/afternoon/evening where you are !

There is always so much to do. Being early is something we try to avoid doing. Like you, that time could be used getting something else done-maybe.

Yes, I'm glad that at least I remembered to bring a book. There have been times when I've goofed like that and had nothing to do !
