Now the blue flower is all done

This blue flower took some time to do. It is due mostly to the middle satin (or filling) stitch. By any chance does anybody here on my lot know what type of flower this could be? I know it is a stylized pattern but still it should re present a real flower. This was done on the 9th of December 2020.

I thought it's going to be lotus when you first share the sketch. Guess it's wrong then.

I don't know about the flower, it's a good. Maybe it's just me, but the thickness of the thread is kind of different? Or is that just an effect?

All the stitches are done with 2 strands of thread. The satin stitch looks thicker only because there are more 2 strands threads packed in together. Hope I am making sense....

@frankie2013 I used to do this when I was in elementary school, but we used special fabric. It called strimin. So I kind of get what you mean.

@Cheyee I am afraid I do not know the term satrim. The fabric that I use right now is just plain 100% coton. With other types of cross stitch I use Aida cloth in either number 14 or 16 or 18...
