My Chocolate Snack Cake is Done!

I just took out the chocolate cake from the oven and left it cooling and resting by the stove. My husband will be arriving from work any time now, and I am sure he will be happy with this. This is an 8-inch cake. Each slice has 45 calories, and 1 gram net carbs. It also has no sugar. If my husband ate the whole pan, he will be at 360 calories. Well, I am making air fried soy honey chicken, so he better have some room for dinner. If not, he can have this for his lunch tomorrow. I attempted to take a picture, but I am having an issue transferring the photos on this ancient netbook. I did not put any icing on it as I do not have the sugar-free kind. I want to keep it as healthy as I can so even if my husband and I ate this in one sitting, we will not be in trouble.

That looks so good and sounds delicious. I've made chocolate fudge brownies for dessert tonight.

This is what I want to bake next. But I always put pecans in it, and I am currently out.

@Raine38 Yum! I love pecans. Maybe next time, I'll add some to the mix.

That sound a small cake. Most chocolate cake has lots of calories. I send my picture to one of my emails. I don't want to attach any cable between my phone and laptop. Most of the time it's because I'm charging the phone and the laptop.

The thing is I am using a really old Samsung Netbook. While I have an iPhone, so it's a bit of a challenge trying to transfer pictures. This Netbook is so slow. I got the cake mix from a special vendor who uses alternative ingredients for baked goods. The real cake is definitely sweeter, but this cake is already good enough for us.

We both had a slice, actually my husband had two, and it's a success! It's a bit spongey yet firm, it does not crumble.
