Donating plasma...

I'm going to be donating plasma for the first time on Thursday. I'm a little nervous I don't know too much about the process or if I'll even be approved because I have to have a physical first. I know some reasons they might not approve me is because I sometimes have high blood pressure and I also have an autoimmune disease but it does not affect me much and I do not take any medications for either of these conditions. Have you ever donated plasma? What do you know about the process? And have you been paid for it? Do you know how much they might pay?

I've donated blood, plasma, and platelets, It's a piece of cake. Just go slow getting up afterward, you could be a bit dizzy. (sudden loss of blood will do that) Blood pressure issues will not be an issue. (I have had high blood pressure for the better part of my adult life. I am not so sure about the autoimmune thing though. Depending on what it is exactly it might. There are a few other things that could get in the way, low iron, or if you are running a fever for example.

I have done that before. They usually pay more for first donations and they are desperate for people in these Covid times I know. I would suspect you would make around 50 bucks. It only takes about an hour and you will on your way.

I have never done so. My health issues bar me from any kind of donation. We have got answers to all your questions in below comment. Hope all goes well.
