A cross stitch/embroidery bird

Right beside the blue flower on my upcoming quilt is a cross stitch/embroidery bird hanging on to a branch that I finished yesterday. Above is its picture. Again I will ask mylotters if any of you know what kind of bird this is? I know stitches whether they may be knitting, crochet, embroidery etc. but when it comes to flowers and birds I only know the very basic and common one...
