He killed it because it was in the path where our Sons were playing so we were protecting our childeren for being bitten. Its not mean when there is a danger of haveing a child killed from being bitten. They are extreamly poisionous. And we were at least 2 hours from a medical hospital. So what would you have done let it kill your child or kill it?

I would hate it, I have never been a big fan of snakes that is one reason I have never been big on camping,lol

if i saw a rattle snake i would be a little bit frightened but yet at the same time i think i might be interested. i have seen a boaconstrictor before and i was a bit scared but i was interested in it, i touched its skin and felt how cold it was and it really was interesting to learn about it

Seen them before. My family use to live in Arizona, and when we saw one we would slowly remove ourselves from the area, and then call the pest control.
