Day 128 Promise 587 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 21 Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. People make promises every day, but many falls by the wayside, forgotten by the one who promised. Paul told the people of Corinth God wasn’t like that but all His promises were yea and amen for His glory. He also told them they were sealed in the Holy Spirit. As Christians, you too are sealed with the promises of God through the Holy Spirit. He established you in the calling He gave you and anointed you as His own. Many Christians forget they are sealed in the promises of God and go about their lives frustrated by the circumstances that surround them. You need to lay hold on those promises, count them as yours because they are yours, and walk with the Holy Spirit who leads you in the way you should go. Don’t forget God anointed you when you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Walk in your anointing and let the Holy Spirit lead you. Then circumstances won’t frustrate you as you lay hold on God’s promises. Let’s pray: Father, help me remember I am sealed in You and Your promises are for me. Let me lay hold on them as I see trouble and temptation surround me and try to destroy my faith. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
